Begin your Egypt travel adventure with an exclusive tour of the astonishing Great Pyramids and Sphinx. Your 11-day adventure includes access to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities to view the iconic Tutankhamen exhibit with an Egyptologist guide. The private custom tour continues with a luxurious cruise down the famed Nile River.   1. Day 1 Arrival in Cairo

    Our representative will be waiting for you at Cairo International Airport with a sign with your name on it.

    We’ll grab your bags and our airport transportation will take you directly to the hotel for check in. You will have the rest of the afternoon/evening to settle in and enjoy at your leisure.

  2. Day 2 Giza and Saqqara

    Enjoy a private custom tour, which explores the Great Pyramids, ancient Memphis, Saqqara, the Solar Boat, Chephren Pyramid, and the famous Sphinx. This tour includes a private vehicle with driver, a trained Egyptologist, and entry to the Chephren (Khafre) or Menkaure (Mycerinus) Pyramids, as well as the Solar Boat.

    Entrance to the Grand Pyramids is not included. Be aware that a limited number of people are allowed inside the Grand Pyramids daily. Be sure to inform your guide the night before if you wish to enter the Grand Pyramids.

    A buffet lunch at a great local restaurant is provided.

    In the afternoon, you will be picked up before sunset from your hotel to travel to the desert. Your private guide will lead you out into the desert on your choice of camel or horse, where you can enjoy watching the sunset with a panoramic view of the Great Pyramids. This evening includes a stop for dinner at a Bedouin restaurant.

  3. Day 3 Cairo to Aswan

    An airport transfer with a private vehicle from your hotel to the Cairo airport is provided. An airport transfer with a private vehicle in Aswan is provided.

    In the afternoon, your personal guide will pick you up for your exclusive felucca sailboat ride where you will sail the famed Nile River to see and photograph the most beautiful part of the Nile in Egypt. Your sailboat will sail around Kitchener Island, the biggest botanical garden started by the famous British army leader, Lord Kitchener. During your sailing trip, you will sail around Aghakhan Mausoleum and Elephantine Island as well.

  4. Day 4 Nile river cruise

    Start your tour with a visit to the impressive Aswan High Dam, then on to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the Goddess of magic. When the Egyptians built the high Dam, Philae temple was pulled out of the water and re-erected on Agilika Island.

    Stop at the old site of the main granite quarry to visit the Unfinished Obelisk. You will see a practical demonstration of the methods used by ancient artisans to cut impressive obelisks and granite statues.

    In the afternoon, you’ll continue sailing down the Nile River from Aswan towards Luxor. The Nile cruise will reach its first destination where you will visit a unique Greco Roman temple dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, the sun god. The Temple in Kom Ombo (also known simply as Kom Ombo Temple) dates from about 180 BC, during a period known as the Ptolemaic era.

    After visiting Kom Ombo temple, the ship will continue sailing towards Edfu.

  5. Day 5 Nile river cruise

    With your private Egyptologist, enjoy visiting the Temple of Horus, the falcon god, considered the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt. This well-preserved temple was built later than most: in the Ptolemaic era from 237 to 57 BC. Despite its later date, it reflects traditional pharaonic architecture and provides an excellent example of how the temples once looked. Edfu Temple is the second largest in Egypt after Karnak Temple. After visiting Edfu Temple, the boat will continue sailing towards Luxor.

  6. Day 6 Luxor to Sharm El-Sheikh

    Today you will explore some of the most incredible sites of the country. Visit the Valley of the Kings where you will have the chance to explore three tombs. These tombs constructed for the kings include King Tut and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom.

    After visiting the Valley of the Kings, it’s off to the nearby Valley of the Queens and the recently renovated mortuary temple of the most powerful and famous woman in ancient Egyptian history, Queen Hatshepsut. The tour includes a visit to the huge Colossi of Memnon, which are all that remain of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.

    In the afternoon, we provide a private transfer from your hotel to the Luxor airport. A transfer to your accommodations in a private vehicle from Sharm El-Sheikh Airport is provided. Meet with your private driver and head to your hotel where you can relax for the rest of the day.

  7. Day 7 Sharm El-Sheikh

    You can relax by the beach or just sign up for optional activities at your resort (extra price): deep-sea fishing, boat excursions, scuba diving, or other.

    You will be picked up before sunset from your hotel and transferred to the desert to meet your guide. The guide will lead you out into the desert on quad-runners (ATVs) to view a beautiful sunset and stop for tea at Bedouin tents before returning to your hotel.

  8. Day 8 Sharm El-Sheikh

    Today, you’ll enjoy a tour to Ras Mohammed that includes entrance into the Ras Mohammed National Park, round trip transfers, and an English-speaking driver and guide. Combining beautiful backdrops for sightseeing and lush coral reefs for snorkeling, the park appeals to a variety of adventurous travelers.

  9. Day 9 Sharm El-Sheikh to Cairo

    Discover the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and its Mummy Room with your private guided tour. The museum holds the tomb of King Tut, Egypt’s most famous boy King. During this evening tour, enjoy a delicious Egyptian dinner in the heart of the Khan Khalili bazaar in Cairo. Stroll down the Al Moaz Street and view the largest concentration of medieval architectural treasures from the Islamic world.

  10. Day 10 Cairo to Alexandria

    Private round trip transfer between Cairo and Alexandria is provided.

    Start your private tour to the famous Alexander-the-Great city, Alexandria. Enjoy a personalized lunch with your guide at a great local restaurant. This full day tour includes a private air-conditioned vehicle, driver, and a trained guide who can bring ancient Alexandria to life.

    Your morning will begin at the Catacombs of Kom El Shugafa, the largest Roman burial site discovered in Egypt to date, consisting of three tiers of tombs and chambers cut into the bedrock to a depth of about 35 meters.

    Your next stop is at the Alexandria National Museum where you may browse among thousands of items on display. Papyrus scrolls, ancient perfume bottles, and painted mummy cases are tastefully displayed.

    In a private guided tour, visit the Bibliotheca of Alexandria, built on the believed site of the old Library of Alexandria, the largest of all antiquity in Alexandria city. Enjoy a short drive to view the Abu al-Abbas Mosque and continue to the Qaitbay Fortress for a photo stop.

    Qaitbay Fortress was built on the island of Pharos, where once stood Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Just north of Qaitbay lies the site of the famous underwater excavation, where hundreds of pillars, statues, and sphinxes were recently discovered. After visiting Alexandria, you’ll head back to Cairo.

  11. Day 11 Depart Cairo

    Today you’ll be busy packing your bags and getting ready to head back home. Transfer provided in a private vehicle between your hotel and Cairo airport.
